Local attractions
Bicheno has much to offer any traveller

The township of Bicheno is situated right in the middle of Tasmania’s mild sunny east coast, approximately half way between Hobart and Launceston. Bicheno boasts a wide selection of landscapes, including long white sandy beaches, rocky outcrops, rural country side and open forest areas. Within easy walking distance of the township centre is a safe swimming beach for children, a foreshore walking track and a safe blow hole.

Attractions accessible from the township include the Sea Life Centre, Bicheno Aquarium, Le Frog’s Trike rides, Bicheno Penguin Tours, Freycinet Sea Cruises and several east coast cool climate wineries. Also, Freycinet Adventures offer a range of cruises and activities out of Coles Bay, as well as Freycinet Air Charters which operate joy flights from the northern end of the peninsula.

"Staying at A+ Apartments...

... was fantastic. The decor was modern and bright. The apartment was spotless and there was every mod con needed. The owners were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be staying there again."

"The hosts were very friendly...

... helpful and thoughtful, the unit was exquisitely presented with artistic, creative and high quality furnishings. Even though the locality was so central, it was remarkably quiet. Highly recommended."

"4 of us travelled around...

... Tasmania staying for a day in usually 4-star apartments. We found this accommodation the cleanest, quietest, extremely well presented internally, spacious rooms and having a very nice view. We felt we were at home.

"We were pleasantly surprised...

... with how modern and comfortable the Bicheno's Apartment was, so comfortable in fact, the kids preferred to stay in instead of eating out. Would recommend it to anyone visiting Bicheno.
